About
Artistic gymnast who won an Olympic gold medal in 2008 in the women's balance beam as well as silver medals in the team, all-around, and floor competitions. She won season eight of Dancing with the Stars in 2009 and, three years later, she finished in second place in the Dancing with the Stars All-Star edition.

She won three gold medals at the 2007 World Championships, four at the 2007 Pan American Games, and one at the 2007 American Cup.

She is the daughter of Doug and Teri Johnson. She married Andrew East in 2016 and they welcomed a daughter named Drew together in 2019. They announced in January 2021 that they were expecting a son.
