Before Fame
He founded the band in 2009 along with college friends Nick Thomas and Chris Salih who would later leave because of busy schedules. Josh Dun then came in to replace them.
Family Life
His hometown is Columbus, Ohio where the band also formed. He has brothers named Zack and Jay and a sister named Madison. He married Jenna Joseph on March 28, 2015 and in February 2020, they welcomed their first daughter together named Rosie Robert Joseph.
